Form and Content 1

I found this piece on google images. the artist is named ikkeno I heard about him from a friend that just got back from england, he is a street artist. He does a lot of his work on street walls, billboards, and on bridges. The piece i chose was done on a street wall it has a stencil of a cow saying "Laugh now , but one day we will meat at McDonalds". It is a parody from another piece of street art done by an artist named Banksy.

Ikkeno uses a big picture of a cow, it looks like the cow is holding a sign where the text is which makes the cow look like hes protesting on the street and the artist uses words to help connect the cow like the word "meat" instead of meet. This piece is visually intresting to me because of how clean and readable it is and its a pretty funny and shocking thing to see if you are walking down the street. the artist used many principals of design on this piece, it has a strong sense of line around the text, has a lot of texture because it is done on a cement wall, it has a big negative shape around the text and the organic shape of the cow. Overall a very creative piece and works well to draw the viewer in.
